We’re almost ready to share Eighth Era and we could not be more excited.
This journey has been more than just anticipating a game; it's been a firsthand experience in witnessing the creative process unfold. My dad, Mark Salzberg, introduced me to Vincent Nguyen after he pitched him a game involving collectibles. My dad is equally a novice in games as he is an expert in collectibles. I, on the other hand, freakin’ love games, so he asked me to talk to Vincent in hopes I could translate. I was blown away by the art and and his approach to storytelling and gameplay. My writing partner, Riley Taggart, and I were inspired by his infectious excitement and pitched Vincent some ideas. Vincent shared his vision with us and brought us into the fold.
In the two-plus years since, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most talented game designers, filmmakers, artists, and collectibles experts in their respective industries. Beyond talent, what truly sets this team apart is their exceptional kindness and collaboration. Nice Gang could not be a more fitting name. Working alongside Vincent and Jason has been one of the best experiences of my life. And Sam Rockwell held a door open for me once, so I know what I’m talking about.
I’ve watched Eighth Era grow beyond anything I could have imagined and I’m certain all of the joy that went into this will manifest in the player experience.
This isn’t just a gaming experience; it’s a chance to journey into the minds of the most innovative creators in the industry. Whether you’re a die-hard gamer, film buff, art aficionado, or someone who collects all things cool, you won't want to miss a beat of what's going down at Nice Gang and Eighth Era. So, stay tuned for more as we gear up for the launch of the best mobile game in history.
